Here s a song I wrote on the guitar I found in the trash behind my neighbor s house. Everything I play on this tends to come out like one of Marty Robbins Gunfighter Ballads. I wanted to write some words that I would have liked to hear from the 90s popstars of my childhood. As a young gay kid, I always felt such disconnect from the world and music of my time, but found comfort in 60s 70s music, the absolute pinnacle for me being early 70s British Glam, which to me means anything that was manufactured to capitalize on the otherworldliness of Marc Bolan T. Rex. If only our 90s popstars had actually been free (Free Britney ). Perhaps a generation or two could have woken up sooner and started to reevaluate and rebuild our broken ways of doing things be it politics, policing, or the music industry.
