Night of the Horse 2011 Tomas Garcilazo Charro Tradicional

On Saturday April 23rd at the 66rd Annual Del Mar National Horse Show in Del Mar, California we were entertained by Tomas Garcilazo. Tomas Garcilazo A native of Mexico City, Tomas was introduced at an early age to his family heritage and tradition of La Charreria, a skill performed throughout generations only by the Mexican Charros. Tomas, an award winning third generation Charro, has devoted his life to sharing Mexico s National Sport with the world and is known internationally as one of the finest Charros presenting La Charreria toady. Tomas has appeared on Broadway, toured th U. S. with Will Rogers Follies, an acclaimed sixtime Tony Awardwinning show, was a fetured performer at Disney s Wild West Show in Paris, France, and teh Buffalo Bill Wild West Show touring Holland and Germany. He has performed numerous times for Mexico s presidents along with guest performances at the White House and Kennedy Center in Washington, D. C.. Currently residing in Southern California, Tom
