Its been ten years since Casey Stoner last raced at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, and nine years since he visited the region that made him an Australian legend. Youd be hard pressed to find someone who hasnt heard of Casey Stoner, the Queenslanders name is synonymous with MotoGP and for good reason. A twotime World Champion, Stoners first win on home soil in 2007 kickstarted a run of six consecutive wins at Phillip Island, with 2012 marking the final time hed stand atop the Australian podium. Now, a decade later, hes back.
