Well we ve been doing this flying at around these speeds now for a some interrupted. MS Twist, Gordon Slade and interviewer: Question: What is it like to fly at this fantastic speed of over 1100 miles per hour. Twist answers: Well, we ve been leading up to it for some weeks now, one doesn t get a great impression of speed at the height we re travelling up, but we know from the instruments we are going very fast indeed.
