Fastest Woman on 4 Wheels Dies Trying to Break Own Record
Jessi Combs, an accomplished racer and TV personality, was killed while trying to break her own landspeed record in Oregon. Known as the fastest woman on four wheels, Combs died while driving her jetpowered car, a North American Eagle Supersonic Speed Challenger, in the Alvord Desert.
