STONE TEMPLE PILOTS UNPLUGGED IN NEW YORK ( LIVE AT SONY MUSIC STUDIOS)
NOVEMBER 17, 1993 :: MTV UNPLUGGED SONY STUDIOS, NY Stone Temple Pilots, the hard rock sensation based south of Los Angeles, taped a performance for MTV Unplugged in New York City in November of 1993. Band members Weiland (vocals), Robert DeLeo (bass), Dean DeLeo (guitars) and Eric Kretz (drums) perform a rockin acoustic set featuring tracks off their debut album Core. Stone Temple Pilots performed an acoustic set for MTV Unplugged with the help of brothers Shawn (guitar) and Lonnie (percussion) Tubbs. Large portions of the set have been aired by MTV, but Andy Warhol has never been broadcast. Andy Warhol and Crackerman from this performance were released as BSides to the Vasoline single. An MTV, Viacom CDROM release from 1995 listed Sin as one of the songs on the set list, prompting many fans to search for this neveraired gem.
