Revolutionizing Prosthetics Drinking from a Water Bottle

Volunteers on DARPA s Revolutionizing Prosthetics program test out early versions of the DEKA Arm System. One volunteer, who is missing both arms, even uses the advanced prosthesis to drink from a plastic water bottle, an especially difficult task for a prosthetic limb considering that water bottles are often slippery, easily deform, and contain moving contents. ,DARPABiT (Video courtesy of DEKA Research Development)
