James Corden and Tom Cruise Deliver a Roaring Performance in The Lion King
James Corden and Tom Cruise have done it again. The duo, who have previously teamed up for some thrilling stunts on The Late Late Show, such as skydiving and flying upside down, took their friendship to a new level by joining the cast of The Lion King for a live performance on stage. The hilarious skit was part of a primetime special that aired on CBS on April 27, celebrating the final night of Cordens latenight series. Corden surprised Cruise with the idea of performing in the musical at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood, after luring him to lunch with a Facetime call. Cruise was initially reluctant to enter Cordens world of musical theater, but the host managed to convince him by reminding him of their past adventures together.
