4, 15. The Who My Wife 1977, Kilburn
The Who at Kilburn: 1977, BluRay, 2008. On 15 December, 1977, after a hiatus of over a year, The Who assembled at the Gaumont State Theatre in Kilburn, North London, to record a concert for Jeff Steins documentary film The Kids Are Alright. Shot before a select invited audience, it would turn out to be Keith Moons last but one live performance. Unusually for live rock at that time, it was shot on 35mm by six cameras and professionally recorded by a 16track recorder. Never seen before, the film rested in The Whos vault for 30 years. It has been digitally restored and the audio remastered.
