Emily Ratajkowski on Her Son, Britney Spears and Rewriting Her Narrative
Emily Ratajkowski opens up to ETs Deidre Behar about her unfiltered and candid book of essays, My Body, available now. The 30yearold modelturnedactress explains what she hopes to accomplish with sharing her deeply personal stories, and how she hopes it makes both women and men feel. She also hopes that by sharing her experiences firsthand, shes rewriting and reclaiming her own narrative. Ratajkowskis book includes an essay titled Toxic, (aptly named after one of Britney Spears biggest hits) which centers around the intense media scrutiny the pop star endured in the early aughts. Ratajkowski admits she initially thought about omitting the essay, but explains why she ultimately kept it in. She also reveals if shes connected with Spears and how she hopes the 39yearold singer reacts to her words.
