MS many refugees walking down the road carrying bundles, babies and pulling carts loaded with belongings, mainly women and children. Church steeples can be seen in distance. A few military trucks drive past. Displaced persons, World War One. End title: Babes sleep to the awful lullaby of the screeching shells.
