NJ, NY scored in both halves to earn three NWSL points over the Chicago Red Stars with a 21 victory. Allie Long scored the games opening goal in the 45+3 with an assist by Caprice Dydasco. Margaret Purce gave Gotham the 20 lead in the 70 converting a penalty kick. The Red Stars struck late in the match with a goal in the 95+6 from Makenzy Doniak and assisted by Katie Johnson.
