Lady Nade and Boo Hewerdine perform Anna to Anna Heslop, the woman who inspired it. They wrote the song as part of 21st Century Folk, Radio 2s series that sees five people have songs written about their lives. Nade and Boo met Anna to hear about her experiences working on Cullercoats lifeboat, which saves lives on the North Tyneside coast. Anna was the first female helm in the stations 170year history.
