Major railway stations are much quieter than normal as services were crippled by thousands of railway workers staging their second strike of the week. It comes as Glastonbury festivalgoers may need to take shelter if they can as thunderstorms are set to sweep across much of southern England, a Met Office meteorologist has warned. The head of Ofcom has said the BBC needs to be much more transparent and open with its audiences in relation to the way it handles complaints and perceptions of impartiality.
