Hitchen Hospital Opened by Duchess of York. Hertfordshire. Little girl stepping up to an outdoor platform to give bouquet to Duchess of York (later Queen Elizabeth, Queen Mother). Duchess ladies descend. Cars driving past lines of nurses on driveway. Duchess arrives at the hospital. Pan on crowd gathered behind iron fence; they stare at or smile and wave at camera. Duchess walks along past nurses w, head nurse a few other people. She shakes hands with a head nurse and gets into her car to be driven off. The Duchess and group arriving at the platform in park. Duchess gives out awards to girls boys who come up walk across platform one at a time cute kids.
