Have you heard of the type of poetry and literature known as parody Not sure what it is exactly In this class, Ill explain what parody is by showing you an example of a poem that is a parody. This is where one writer takes an earlier, wellknown piece of literature, and imitates it in a humorous way. So basically, its a literary joke My example comes from Alices Adventures in Wonderland, by the famous Victorian writer, Lewis Carroll.
