Motorcycle Builder Suzy Pilaczynski the Hexaglide, Easyriders

Motorcycle builder Suzy Pilaczynski of OldStf Cycle Shop in Yuba City, California, showcases her awardwinning Hexaglide chopper a 1977 HarleyDavidson Shovelhead 74ci with a modified Billy Grulke frame from the 70s and housefabricated wheels. These days, Suzy is finishing up her latest build, for Born Free 12. She is the first woman to be invited to the event. What excites me during the creation process is seeing the fusion of art and technology coming together with traditional methods of building and the implementation of new materials, she shares. It opens up endless possibilities to create oneofakind bikes, while also staying true to the overall aesthetic.
