Doctor Who on PBS Promos Pledges Volume 8

In this volume we go to the station that s probably the most prolific shower of Doctor Who on PBS Iowa Public Television. It is said that IPTV has shown Doctor Who almost constantly with few gaps since 1971. As strange as it sounds, they ve probably shown Doctor Who more than anyone, even the BBC The first 20 minutes concerns a pledge drive from 1998 during a showing of what the host insists on calling The War Machine. Accompanying him is one Mike Frisbie who has the balls to call the Doctor Who effects cheesy whilst taking part in one the worst ever green screen effects I think I ve ever seen You can even see where he s actually sitting in the bottom corner of the screen Talk about glass houses The second half of the volume entails Mike Frisbie s rambling links to camera introducing various stories. Not as good as Marty Robinson in my opinion, but apparently he had quite a following
