Ellipses, a conversation with Omar Amiralay is a threescreen montage consisting of excerpts from Syrian director Omar Amiralays films, together with an interview Sandra Iché conducted with the filmmaker shortly before his death, in January 2011, using a performative fictionnal protocole : we are in 2030 and we remember nowdays (cf. In the film he somehow intuitively staged the dialogue that he and Iché were improvising, making it an instable exchange and playful conversation, bringing to light Amiralays artistic strategies through narration and cinema.
