Redrum 8 is the palindrome wording of the drug Fentanyl, a drug popularly used to relief pain and cause euphoria. Keeping that in mind, I tried to assimilate fully the feeling of being in a state of trance with a captivating memorable main theme and a heavy techno bassline, not having conscious control of your dancing body to the beat. The track was heavily inspired by Jesper Kyd s work for the Hitman:Blood Money Mission A Dance with the Devil and it s main theme Slasher which was made by the band Institute for the Criminally Insane.
