Belisarius, Rome vs Vandals Epic 20, 000 Units Cinematic Total War Battle
Emperor Justinian set out to reconquer territories belonging to Rome in the days of the height of the Roman Empire. Belisarius, a great roman general was sent to retake Carthage in a fight vs Vandals. In this cinematic, the Roman general Belisarius arrives in North Africa with 6, 180 troops of seasoned Roman soldiers and cavalry. He is facing Gelimer, the king of the Vandals who brings 14, 400 troops of fierce Vandal warriors and cavalrymen. Before setting it s sights on the city of Rome, Justinian wants the Northern African territories of current Tunisia under his control, part of the Eastern Roman Empire. Belisarius has fewer men but they are far more disciplined. His elite Bucellarii are also present on the battlefield. The Roman army has an advantage in the quality of its cavalry and the size of their armored archer contingent.
