Grazing occultation of Antares, Western Australia 2009 Feb 17
Five people observed this grazing occultation 40km north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia (near Bardoc). The scope for this video was an ETX125 which was poorly aligned (because of major cloud problems leading up to the event). It also did not handle the wind well, with backlash in the drive not helping. The event lasts 4 minutes. The initial disappearance of Antares was missed. After a period Antares B reappears and is visible by itself for a total of 113 seconds. There are two faint flashes of B
