Vladimir KaraMurza, a dual BritishRussian citizen, was freed after a historic prisoner swap between Russia and the West. He had been held in a Russian prison for two years, much of it in solitary confinement, after being handed a 25year jail sentence for treason. The charges were seen as politically motivated.
