Flower Conference (1962)
Llandudno, Wales. The 39th Interflora conference allows florists from all over the world to swop ideas on flower arrangements. A bride receives a floral bouquet and a bridesmaid holds a ball shaped posy. Parisienne Colette Baumann uses yellow coloured carnations and chrysanthemums, and there are pink and red dahlias, orchids roses and freesias in a huge pink heart shaped floral valentine. A representative from behind the Iron Curtain uses wheat. Ben Hubbard from the USA, makes a bird of paradise out of a flower in bloom. The audience, mainly women are seen clapping.
