Mladys Dress While She Waits (1921)

Intertitle reads: You know that horrid feeling when you haven t anything nice to wear worth mentioning and hubby rushes in and wonders why you aren t ready to be off Shot which follows shows man rushing into wife s boudoir to find her in her dressing gown preening her hair. M. Alphonse Berg the famous fashion designer makes his wife a dress on the spot. He takes off her dressing gown and stands her on a box in the middle of the room. She stands with hands above her head whilst Alphonse drapes a long piece of material around her body. He continues to drape and pin and creates a frock in two minutes. The wife admires herself in a mirror. Alphonse puts a hat on her head, hands her a parasol and handbag, puts his hat on and they leave. The dress is then seen in Regent Street as they walk down the street together. Was an Eve s Film Review item issue unknown. Safety print exists show print.
