Los Angeles police release bodycam footage of shooting that accidentally killed girl

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) released body camera footage on Monday of a policeinvolved shooting that occurred Dec. 23 at a clothing store in North Hollywood that showed officers responding to reports of an assault. The footage shows officers approaching where a suspect is believed to be located. They come across a woman, who police say on the video was bleeding before the footage shows an officer with a firearm rounding a corner of store racks. At least one officer opened fire at a person seen on the body camera, later identified as the suspect. According to police, during the shooting and unseen on camera, a 14yearold girl was hit in a dressing room by a bullet that went through drywall that was behind the suspect. The suspect died at the scene, but the 14yearold girl who was hiding with her mother in the dressing room also died. Police say there was no gun on the suspect. For more info, pleas
