Tutorial: Christmas Tree made with Polymer Clay (cartoon style, pretty easy, no ornaments)

Here s a new way of making a Christmas tree that I haven t seen anyone else do in a tutorial. If you use this method, you can get a nice looking tree very easily, or you can spend a little more time and make it really awesome. You can decorate it however you like, or just make lots of them and make a little forest You might want to attach a stable base to hold up the trunk while you work on it; mine was pretty loose, but I wasn t worried about making it perfect. The base can look a pile of snow, or a flower pot, or a tree stand, or you can make it look like it has a christmas tree skirt over a stand by rolling out a flat sheet of clay and cutting it into a circle, and put that over the base. Cook it (follow your clay s directions) to make the base stable before adding branches.
