EU throws cash at migration problem
The EU aims to tackle the migrant crisis by writing big checks to North African nations, and shelling out over 100 million in a deal with Tunisia to prevent boats packed with migrants from trying to reach Europe. It is eager to strike deals with other regional states such as Egypt and Morocco as well. Tunisiabased journalist Rahma Behi tells RT that Europeans simply want North African nations to serve as gatekeepers.
