Tail STAR a double joint tail sprawl tuned robot
Tail STAR is a novel sprawling robot with a double joint tail capable of overcoming a variety of obstacles. It can be used for search and rescue applications. It can cross over gaps and climb over stairs and sidewalks. It can climb over obstacles that are 6 times larger than its wheels radius.
