Building a Log Cabin in the Wilderness, Ep1 1st Course of Logs
After many months of building a basement foundation and harvesting trees for my new off grid log cabin in the Canadian wilderness, I finally start building the walls. Using logs as large as 18 inches in diameter and 24 feet long, the work is hard and slow and hauling the last of the logs back to the cabin site before snow comes next month will be a challenge.
