Containers Transformed into Libraries

We are opening our very first container library at Muskut Primary School in the Kerio Valley. Housing the entire contents of a library in a retrofitted shipping container, we believe that container libraries are an answer to placing libraries in areas where building a permanent structure is either not possible in slum or refugee areas, in places where land ownership is not clear, in areas where building supplies cannot reach) or not financially practical.
