Teresópolis is located in the Serra Fluminense, in the interior of the State of Rio de Janeiro. It is 94 km north of the city of Rio de Janeiro. The name of the city derives from the homage to Empress Teresa Cristina de BourbonDuas Sicílias, wife of D. Pedro II. Hence the name Teresópolis, Cidade da Teresa. Just as Petrópolis derives tribute to D. Pedro, with Petrópolis being the City of Pedro. Like other cities in the mountainous region, Teresópolis is a city mainly focused on tourism, with several natural and urban attractions. On this walk I passed through the Várzea neighborhood, starting at Avenida Lúcio Meira, which contains a large concentration of commercial establishments and an intense flow of people. And then I entered Calçada da Fama street. About the Walk of Fame, there is a project to transform it effectively into a walk of fame, but this project did not leave the paper, however the name of the street stuck.
