Nancy Drew turns 50
The ageless teenage detective, created by Edward Stratemeyer, was celebrated at a 50th birthday party in New York City, featuring Stratemeyer s daughter, Harriet Stratemeyer Adams, who herself wrote more than 50 Nancy Drew mysteries following her father s death.
