Churi is a traditional Punjabi dessert, sweet dish. Traditionally made with fresh hot roti by crumbling it with ghee and jaggery, you can also add nuts. Loved by children adults, in olden days churi was prepared by hand and no other ingredient except the ones mentioned here were added. Maize Flour 1 Cup Oil for Greasing Jaggery 45 tbsp Chopped Cashew Nuts 2 tbsp Raisin 1 tbsp Ghee 2 tbsp Method 1. Take 1 cup of Makai flour in a bowl, and add Luke warm water to prepare dough. 2. Once the dough is ready wrap it with muslin cloth for 15 minutes. 3. Spread a plastic sheet, grease it with oil divide the dough in equal portion. 4. Take one portion and shape it into a ball, flatten the ball, place it on the plastic sheet and press it in the shape of roti. 5.
