Rolling Around the Kit

Just having some fun with the sound these Luddies produce. I m trying out a new pair of Regal tip 5A sticks and really like them. Much lighter than others yet retaining a heavy stick sound. Set the overheads to the exact ORTF specs and btw, that s 110 deg 17cm apart, I found the cymbals came through with a cleaner shine. Other new thing being tried here is a Sennheiser MD421on the batter side of the bass attack I am finding, yet natural. That bass drum sure moves a lot of air
