H. E. Ling Rinpoches Visit to Harwan Monastery in Kashmir

H. E. Ling Rinpoche visited and pay respect to HARWAN Monastery, an ancient Buddhist Monastery in Srinagar Jummu and Kashmir, where the fourth Buddhist Council was held during the reign of Kanishka. The Harwan Monastery site holds great significance in the spread of Buddhism as it travelled into all directions from the place of its founding and Kashmir played a major role in it.
