Graham Beginners Floor Exercise taught by Phyllis Gutelius
Taken from a test class for the Ist Year level. The exercise is built and developed on the Graham Pleadings exercise and the Pilates Roll. Practiced over a period it develops core strength, fluid movement quality, and prepares for falls. Each phrase was introduced and practiced until it could be performed with ease and the next phrase introduced. Use of the floor as support and carriage of the head are important elements.
