THIS IS NOT STUPID: This beat is stupid. Yes, there are a few useful techniques (crossovers, handtofeetcombos) that can come out of practicing something like this. But generally, it s useless. I do think that drums should always stay fun. And even though playing, teaching drums is my job, I still like to mess around with stuff like this because it gives me something to break up the intense technique and musicality practice that I ve been doing lately.
