It includes performances by numerous popular rock and roll and R B musicians from the United States and England. The concert was held at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium on October 28 and 29, 1964. Free tickets were distributed to local high school students. The acronym was used inconsistently in the show s publicity to mean both Teenage Awards Music International and Teen Age Music International. James Joseph Brown (May 3, 1933 December 25, 2006) was an American singer, songwriter, dancer, musician, record producer and bandleader. The Famous Flames were an American rhythm and blues vocal group founded in Toccoa, Georgia, in 1953 by Bobby Byrd.
