Neil de Grasse Tyson: Tears in space and other things Gravity got right
Neil deGrasse Tysons tweets about science mysteries in the movie Gravity made the news, but there were hundreds of things they got right. Neil talks about a few of his favorites in this video from Business Insider and StarTalk Radio. Youll hear about the depiction of tears and liquid surface tension in space, the use of the fire extinguisher as a rocket, the total satellite destruction scenario and the speed of the debris bombarding Sandra Bullock in the movie. Its not all praise, though: Neil discusses the likelihood of landing in a lake after reentry and a couple of other mysteries too.
