Alla prima portrait In my art studio

Today I m showing you the painting process of a commissioned portrait, for which I used a reference photograph, which made it quite a struggle. My palette consists of the colours ultramarine blue, cerulean blue, alizarin crimson, cadmium red medium, burnt sienna, cadmium yellow medium and deep and titanium white. All of them are Van Gogh Royal Talens, except for alizarin crimson, that one is Georgian Daler Rowney. I m using bristle Da Vinci brushes and to clean them a little bit of Gamsol.
