FAQ: BUY ME A COFFEE (Support me with a one time donation ) gentleman jack is one of my absolute favorite tv shows ever it s based on the true story of anne lister, a woman dubbed the first modern lesbian due to how she kept a record of all of her relationships with women in a coded diary (of course, lgbt+ people have existed far beyond her time, but she is considered the first modern lesbian at least in the west). i am entirely in love with the way this show portrays sapphic intimacy and love, and so i simply had to sing the song that inspired its creation. i m so happy that this show exists.
