The Last of the Mohicans is a 1992 American epic historical drama film set in 1757 during the French and Indian War. The soundtrack was a single disc and consisted of 16 tracks. The first 9 were written by Trevor Jones, the next 6 by Randy Edelman. The main theme of the movie is Promentory, an orchestration of the tune The Gael by Scottish singersongwriter Dougie MacLean from his 1990 album The Search.
