Repression Dennis Hicks, Mike Murphy

Photographed and edited by Dennis Hicks and Mike Murphy of L. A. Newsreel in 1969, this rare but important film about the Black Panthers was never released back in the day. It has only ever existed as a work print, and edited magnetic soundtrack. It was rediscovered in 1997 and put out on a retrospective Newsreel DVD but has recently been scanned in HD at the USC Hugh M. Hefner Moving Image Archive to put online along with all of the outtakes, original negative.
