How Victorians stayed warm in winter Making an 1840s accessories
I wanted to go out in my 1840s dress, so I needed some warm accessories. I also needed a nice indoor cap to cover my head. For the outside, I made a nice little bonnet and a green velvet mantle. The reveal shots were filmed at Glims Farmstead Museum here at Espoo. You can find the museum website here: I thank the museum for letting me film there in the nice oldtimey atmosphere HeiniMaria joined me at Glims wearing an outfit from roughly the same period. It was fun filming together If you want to support my channel, here is the link to my KoFi account: My blog: Picture references: Lace cap from MET, public domain: Finnish tulle cap, Museokeskus Vapriikki, CC BY ND 4. 0: Evening bonnet, MET, public domain: Poke bonnet: Mantle, MET, public domain: Music: Epidemic sound YouTube Audio Library (attribution not required) Filming Equipment: Canon EOS R10 Mic: Rode VideoMicro Compact OnCamera Microphone: VO mic:
