Langue sacrée langue parlée ( Nurith Aviv, 2007) EN FR
All modern and apparently secular languages are imbued with centuries of religious history whose marks they still bear. But it is an unprecedented scenario, that a sacred language has once again become a spoken language by political will. Through a language, Hebrew, the film Sacred language, spoken language points out the marks and the remanences of the religious world in the modern universe. The film deals with the political and the poetic, the religious and the secular, and asks questions that are not without relevance in other contexts.
