Di Resta 13 Slab Table
This is a 13 x 50 x 5 thick cedar slab purchases from Brett did the flattening to learn how to do it. he used my Stanley, 8 jointer plane. This table will live partially outside under an open veranda I used Total Boat penetrating epoxy on the entire slab (top and bottom and all edges) and then 56 coats of Total Boat Gleam gloss SparVarnish (client wanted gloss finish) sanding between all coats. After this video wrapped I sanded and sprayed the last 2 coats with giving it a more smooth glossy finish then in the last few shots The steel was finished with and clear coat welded with:
