Longleat Lions (1966)
Longleat, Wiltshire. Lions at Longleat. Sign Warning Guard Dogs Patrolling, various shots of the lions. The Marquess of Bath gives a visitor pass to some people in a car, the gamekeeper opens the gate and they drive through past a sign telling them to keep their doors and windows closed. Lord Bath drives along in a zebra jeep with one of the gamekeepers who is carrying a gun, lions stroll in front. Various shots of lions taking a look at the cars driving past, one visitor takes a picture of two lions playing. A lioness drags off a piece of cloth. Various shots as slabs of meat are thrown. M, S of Richard Chipperfield feeding a lion and stroking it. A lion cub is fed from a bottle by Mary Chipperfield, another eats food from a dog bowl, the dog tries to eat the food but the cub picks the bowl up and carries it off somewhere else.
