Tinkerbell King Palmer London Promenade Orchestra, Walter Collins Paxton PR 401
King Palmer (19131999) possessed the rare gift of being able to capture, in a few bars of music a particular mood or feeling. In a 30 year career more than 600 pieces of his music were recorded to depict almost every imaginable occasion. He was a very gifted and talented composer of light music. And the term Light Music certainly applies to this well known King Palmer composition, Tinkerbell. It s from the Paxton Recorded Music library, and played by the London Promenade Orchestra conducted by Walter Collins (PR401). The disc was issued in 1946.
