Belfast Riots, Ardoyne East Belfast Troubles July 2010 Riots break out in Ardoyne as Catholics try to stop Protestants from passing the shop fronts. Police attacked with petrol bombs, rocks and fireworks. Also riot along the Newtonards Road in East Belfast where Catholics fire a gun at police and shoot an American photographer.
